Journaling reads:
I am Connor. I am 7 years old. When I was
six years old, I wanted to be a weatherman.
I watched Storm Stories on the Weather
Channel, I read books about weather, I used to
watch out the window for cool clouds and
loved to talk about weather phenomenon with
my parents.
But now IÂ’m 7. IÂ’m not so sure anymore.
Last month, the weather tried to eat me. I
got a little scared (Mommy says I panicked).
I spent the rest of the night right by
Daddy because he makes me feel calm and
safe. Then a few days later, we had an
almost tornado, again, and we were caught
at church. It scared me. Now, I spend my
days looking out the window at the
clouds and worry that they are going to
bring a thunderstorm or tornado. Mom &
Dad are teaching me about praying and
trusting God and figuring it out, but
IÂ’m still a bit spooked.
So if I could have the perfect
job, I would be a weatherman
who didnÂ’t have to tell about
thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes,
earthquakes or hail. I could just
tell you that it was going to
rain when you need it.
P.S. I still like the weather. My
favorites are rain and snow and
fun stuff like that!
