This is my first try at watercoloring. I tried pulling color off my ink pad lids but didn't enjoy doing it that way. I finally colored with my markers on my Stamp a majig sheet and then found I did better with a regular paint brush with water then with any other tool. I know I need a lot more practice with shading but I'm pretty pleased with my first try. I made this for my sister who loves to row her little boat around the lake she lives on.

This looks great, you should be pleased with your first attempt. I was introduced to watercolouring for my first time using the watercolour crayons from stampin up and the aquapainters. You should give those a try too!

I think you did an awesome job watercoloring...love the colors and the background looks like an old fishing net, perfect for the stamp you used...like she is trying to attract the fish with her toes....Ok,,i'm letting my imagination run away with me.
