My son has 3 teachers. I decided to make their thank you cards for the end of the year now -- June is such a busy month for us that it is good to get some of that stuff done sooner than later.
I made a home-made cloud template last night and did 3 backgrounds on whisper white using my SU chalks - bordering blue. I love that !! Then I sstamped this great Magenta butterfly image and colored it in with my SU watercolor pencils. I blended the colors with a wet paintbrush. Then I smudged some of the bordering blue around the background where the script is to make it match with the card front clouds. I matted the image on bordering blue cardstock and, using the sketch challenge for this week SC125, attached it on the left bottom corner. I added a thank you in the right bottom and then put the whole front on a bordering blue card.
I hope his teachers like them -- we appreciate all that they have done this year.

Beautiful cards. I'm sure the teachers will appreciate. Love your cloud background.

These are such elegant cards. The sponging is great. And you're so creative for having made your own cloud pattern. Your focal point is colored beautifully.
