This is my card for today's sketch challenge. It is for a RAK request from Gadget19 (Kelly). Her 9 year old neice recently was awarded a part in a Peter Pan play...she is a lion! ROAR!!!! Here is a link to Kelly's request if you would like to send a card:
1. LilLuvsStampin recently made an awesome card using the Faux Leather technique (with masking tape) and inspired me to try it!
2. My husband said....that background is awesome! But you ruined it by making the lions pink! I said...you forget that you are the photographer and I am the arteest! In my world, on this day, lions are pink!
3. Note to self: Never again try to put brads through Faux Leather!
4. Roxie, you should be proud of me...I used your measurements...this card is legal! I recently had a little trouble with the Challenge Police...Roxie advised me not to answer the door after my last challenge card didn't quite qualify.....but unfortunately I did answer the door (I thought it was Ed McMann - What a let down!). Anyway, as a result of opening the door, I am on probation and must be on my best behavior!

What a cutie-patootie for a little gal in a play being a lion! I never knew there really was a challenge police - is Rox real tough? Did she scare you to shakin' and makin' legal cards? Wow, I best be more careful - probation you say? Wow!
If you open someone's card, you must have liked it...please leave a comment to encourage them!

And what an 'arteest' you are! I LOVE your adorable pink lions; it makes them less scary. Your faux leather looks so fabulous on your extremely CUTE card! Isn't that a fun and cool technique? For a little mite, that Roxie sure can be tough; I didn't know there were challenge police either. Kelly is gonna love, love, love this card!
