Thanks everyone! It took me a long time to organize and get the maximum out of that small room. I got the drawers (cd case holders) from Brylane Home -- they come flat and you assemble them. The bookcases were really old ones I was going to throw out because they were falling apart. Instead, I went to the local lumber yard and had them cut wood so that I could make more shelves. I also had them cut me two huge pieces of wood which I used to brace the backs of the bookcases. Just before I bought the drawers, I unmounted all my stamps, stored them in CD cases and bought some acrylic blocks. Now my stamp sets barely take up the first 3 rows of the first bookcase (love unmounted!) -- I couldn't believe how much more room this saved. My stamp sets used to take up a bookcase and a half. The rest of the cases in the first bookshelf and empty and eagerly awaiting more stamps. The drawers in the second bookshelf hold a lot of supplies (chipboard coasters, fancy fibers, embossing stuff, SA handles and ink cartridges, tape, glue, stampin' spots, fabric paints, etc.). The drawers hold a surprising number of items -- and all well hidden. They have a slot on the front for a label, so even though everything isn't visible, I don't really have a hard time finding what I want. Thanks for the comments -- I love my space!
