Mixed Bouquet - nesting boxes

 | | I just loved Beate's design for her project tutorial last week. (I'm an explosion box junkie...) So, I decided to CASE the basic design and change the colors a bit for a prize I needed to make. I wanted something a bit unique, so I made three boxes in different sizes and nested them like little Russian dolls.
I used a scallop scissor for the lid edges (you'll need to do a little extra cutting on the corner flaps if they show).
Cut sizes were:
1-1/2" box: bottom=4-1/2x4-1/2, scored at 1-1/2, lid=3-1/8 x 3-1/8, scored at 3/4
2" box: bottom=6x6, scored at 2, lid=3-7/8 x 3-7/8, scored at 7/8
2-1/2" box: bottom=7-1/2x7-1/2, scored at 2-1/2, lid = 4-3/8x4-3/8, scored at 7/8 ***note: my lid size is different than what Beate listed on the tutorial. I find that this size is a better fit.
