Okay. . . looks a bit cowboy-ish! I tried the crimper-distressing on the small piece--running the stamped CS throuh a crimper MANY times in many ways to get the layers to separate. The only advantage that I saw to it was being able to curl the edges of the CS more easily. Not sure it was worth the time! Ran the red gingham ribbon across my creamy caramel classic pad to age it, and used the paper piercing template to punch faux stitches around the edges of the center of interest since it reminded me of leather. Finished off with vintage brads at the bottom. Boy, I wish they would sell just those brassy looking ones in a 200 pack!

this is great! and I TOTALLY agree about those vintage brads! that color is yhe only one that I've used in 3 packages! you did a superb job on the ageing technique! it's my new favorite!
