Hee hee. I don't normally do flowers; I don't really know why. I love what others do with them, but for some reason, I shy away from the floral sets. When I bought Blossoms Abound, a good friend who shall remain nameless (kmallett78) made fun of me, even, and forbade me to use it for a shoebox swap we were attending! She said it reminded her of Grandma's house.
So this beautiful set has sat unloved and uninked on my shelf until today, when I decided I needed to pull it out. My subversive alter ego suggested I pair this River City Rubber Works sentiment with it in honor of my afore-unmentioned friend. :)
The image and sentiment layers are on scraps of Fabriano Medovalis paper that I'd messed up on in an earlier project but couldn't bear to throw away. The backgrounds are Linen inked in Sahara Sand. The blossoms were inked first in Pale Plum, then Elegant Eggplant. All images were inked then sprayed with water before stamping. The sentiment was stamped in Perfect Plum.
Thanks for looking, and I hope I didn't offend your virtuous sensibilities... :)

beautiful card - I love the colors and the cuttlebug - it took me a second (haven't had my coffee yet!) to 'get' the sentiment - I'm thinking - "what does that mean" then the light bulb went on *LOL* it looks so innocent sitting there......- I just ordered this stamp set so this is going into my favs - I've seen several in the gallery and I think it stamps just beautifully - and my lilacs are just blooming now and my whole yard smells heavenly!

I am so glad genie 1314 pointed out this card. I probably just passed it by during the week and didn't stop to read the saying. Talk about perfect use of a flower set. Thanks for the laugh!! Actually, thanks for many laughs!!
