This has nothing to do w/ Stamping ... but I was so excited to make it I just wanted to post and share w/ everyone. This is my DD favorite band and I made her this clock for Christmas!

Glittergal : How old is your DD? Mine loves Matt T. also!! He is a cutie!
I color copied a magazine cover (CCM) at Office Depot 'cause I wanted a really good copy. Then I took the top off the clock and pulled off the minute hands -- I wanted to pull off all the hands, but couldn't figure out how to get the hour and minute hands off -- if anyone knows, please share --
Anyway, then I cut the photo to size and made a hole for the clock hands. I cut the photo from one side in toward the hands so I could slide it around the mechanism and glued it down w/ mono.
She LOVED it when she saw it this morning!

I showed the clock to my daughter and now she wants one (actually, she would like to be able to change the clock face periodically to rotate in different singers/bands, if that's possible??). And that's a great idea about color-copying the mag cover, to preserve the original. I imagine this would work for small posters as well. Now my next question is the same as "Shell" asked above -- where do we get the clock? Is it available at office supply stores, craft stores, Wal-Mart? I've never seen them, but of course, I've never had a reason to be looking for one yet. I'm hoping you can save me time by letting me know a good source. Then, I think I'll keep the idea in mind till Valentine's Day.
Thanks! p.s. She also thinks Chris Tomlin is a cutie, which he is.

Sorry ... I just now saw your last question. The clock I used came from Office Depot, but any cheap clock will do. They usually run around $3 - $5. Wal-mart has good ones too.
