(I just love how soft the saffron yellow looks on the roses.)
Here are the cute and pretty little notebooks that I made for the teachers of my two boys and the school director and her staff for Teacher Appreciation Week. I asked each one what their favorite color was and personalized them based on what they told me.
I found this great template by rebuh (link to template: measurements for notepad holder by rebuh at Splitcoaststampers , link to her notebooks: great little notebook holders! by rebuh at Splitcoaststampers ). It wasn't noted, but I cut the slits for the pen at 1.5 inch point from each side. I bought all the RSVP pens CVS had, so, I had to supplement with some Pilot pens I had. I stuffed a folded piece of cardstock inside each pen to match it to the notebook cover. And, I have to say how much I LOVE my SU! Markers (the set of 4. They made this project SO easy!
Also, I stamped "Two little words that come with so much gratitude... Thank you." from the Curvy Verses set inside the cover.
Tip: Use SNAIL to adhere and position the 3x5" notepad, and then staple. I used staples (clean edge on the outside) to keep the notepad in place. (CVS has a 4 pack of these cute 3x5" notepads that fit right into this template. I bet you can get them at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.. I was running out of time, so I went to the nearest store I could.)
I gave them to the teachers/staff today and they loved them! This would be a great project for my next stamp camp. Very easy!
