My first post! The A-Muse-a-palooza excitement gave me a good reason. This is for the first challenge - just to use black ink. I stamped the image and sentiment in black, and just used colored pencils (no gamsol) to color in the tree. Used a Making Memories latch card (that I got on super sale - Yeah!), and trimmed the edge of the card and latch with my Fiskars scalloped scissors.

So simple, yet so beautiful! It reminds me of the children's book "The Giving Tree" by Shel shilverstein. After the little boy leaves the tree as he grows to become an adult, the tree is so lonely and misses him so. TFS!
