This is a card for my cousin's wedding, which is this weekend, but I can't make it. (We just had our second baby 3 months ago, so we decided it was to soon to fly across the country with a 3 month old and a 3 year old.) My cousin's wedding colors are silver, black, and red, and we are Russian, so I thought I would do a card with a Russian flair and incorporate all three colors. The background was stamped in VersaMark and embossed. I stamped the Cor. 13:13 verse first, then stamped the roses around it, and used coluzzle to cut out a portion around the verse. Then, i used paper snips to cut out the roses. I used markers to color in areas i wasn't able to cut. I also used the Zig Painty to outline the oval red layer and the edge of the card. I used a silver marker to touch up the roses. Matching envelope has "love" stamped from the Everyday Flexible Phrases set.
