I usually have to take my pictures at night after work, but I'm off today and having fun. It's a beautiful, sunny day here so I was able to take this picture outdoors. I love the advantage of the natural daylight!
I recently met Notimetostamp (Sharon) who showed me how beautiful pearl ex looks on a Cuttlebugged background, so I wanted to give this a try. I embossed the cs and then pressed my versamark pad over the raised embossed pieces. I used my stipple brush to put a light dusting of pearl ex over that and then used a swifter cloth to remove the excess. Thank you, Sharon; I love how this looks so shimmery!

This is just gorgeous.....it is a beautiful card no question but I gotta tell you that picture is just awesome... I am assuming that your card is sitting on the deck rail...the same one that was covered with snow in your Christmas card! This is beautiful Charlene....I will have to try it...You learn so much in your travels! Good job on this!

Gorgeous card, Charlene!!! It was so fun to have you here -- wish it could have been longer!!! I LOVE your use of the round tab punch in your name plate -- how VERY cool -- love that stacked/layered look it has -- GREAT CARD -- and a gorgeous outdoor photo!!!
