 | | I've struggled with Roses in Winter (RIW), so thought I'd try copying from a master. When I saw BadSherry's SC120 Roses I knew I'd fallen upon a master. Her work is gorgeous and her instructions on her gallery post and in her blog, Walking on the BAD side (http://sherrycheever.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/) were very easy to follow.
Here's her original gallery post.

The only thing I did differently was to change her Barely Banana to So Saffron and her Ranger Walnut distress Ink to Creamy Caramel. I also stamped across the whole rose image again with VersaMark using the Weathered background stamp and used a different ribbon (Tim Holtz).
Mine doesn't look nearly so good as BadSherry's, but it's the best I've ever done. I'll keep practicing, BadSherry, and do you proud yet. |
