Funny story: We live on a lake, and recently my husband decided to get a little aluminum boat to tool around the lake in. Well this morning he was working on the dock, and his hat flew off. He set out in the little boat to get it, and when he got close, he leaned down to pick it up, and tumbled right in the lake. Now my husband has a few extra pounds and isn't in the best shape, so getting back in the boat was out of the question. He tried to hold onto it and swim with one arm for the neighbors dock that was closest, but he quickly ran out of steam. Luckily our neighbor who is a great friend was in the back yard. When he saw that my dh wasn't making much progress getting to shore he ran inside and came back out with trunks on. He dove in, looking much like David Hasslehoff in his prime, and helped dh make it back to the dock. Sooo... soon after dh got dry and back to normal he asked if I could make a thank you card for his buddy, our neighbor. I had just the stamp! After I saw Sweet Miss Daisy make a card very similar to this one some time ago, I had to have the stamp, but I had never gotten around to using it... until just the right opportunity came along today. Thanks Anna! The sentiment is hand printed.
