WT109 'Heavy Metal' challenge: use metal on a card.
The only metal things on this card are the 'plus' brads holding the panel onto the the background. I used lots of metallic inks, though: silver, bronze, and copper.
I got to use new stuff for this card! I saw this new cuttlebug folder at Michaels this week. I called it 'washers' when I saw it. The copper and bronze inks are new too.
After the background was embossed, I used a brayer to color the 'washers' silver. I smeared a bit of copper ink on a few of them to break the monotony and to make some of them look a little bit aged.
Some of the Big Pieces and Little Pieces remind me of gears. While I was working on the card, a song from Pink Floyd (progressive rock, not heavy metal) came to mind, so the card is named after the song.
I might send this card to my nephew for his birthday.
