I happened to already have this Roses in Winter panel stamped in these colors for a previous project (and still laying out on my stamp table) when I checked out the color challenge this morning. Wouldn't you know it -- Emily and I like the same color combos and share a love of Roses in Winter!
Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card for an online friend whose niece was one of the college student victims in yesterday's Virginia Tech tragedy.
The first two (largest) roses were inked first in saffron ink, then rolled in rose red ink. The final/smallest rose piece was stamped in straight rose red ink.
For more creative details, please see my blog: PaperFections. Thanks!

These flowers are wonderful. Great job! I am so sorry to hear that you knew of someone affected yesterday. Big hugs! What a horrible incident. I am saying my prayers for all those affected.

I'm so sorry for the loss of such an innocent life. What happened yesterday is every mother's worst nightmare. My prayers are with all of the families. This is a very beautiful card to send.
