for Friday's limited supply challenge, LSC111; Celebrating Grandma. Card for Grandma from the kids, NO Flowers allowed.
A couple of weeks ago I saw JanTink's tutorial on Paper Tole. I have been wanting to try it and this set just cries out for layering the pieces. Just a note: if you hate to cut out itty bitty, nit picky details this is not a technique for you. Basically I stamped each image several times and in different colors. Cut out the pieces and layered them back together with with dimensionals. Created a background by sponging bashful blue (which doesn't show well in the picture) for the sky and creamy caramel for the ground. Stamped grass using the grass stamp from because of you stamp set and mellow moss ink. Laid out the images to figure placement. Stamped the giraffe in chocolate chip on the background then glued the cut out giraffe on top, repeated this process with the bird and pumpkin ink, and the lion and so saffron ink. Add the elephant last then stamped another layer of grass with always artichoke.
