I had promised my customers that I would teach them to make jewelry for my Christmas Gifts class. I love to use my stamps for this purpose but most of the jewelry I make is a class all by itself. After much thought I decided to go with these easy microscope slide pins. (Though I feared they might be a bit big to be pratical. They can be cut by the way with a glass cutter.) Anyway, these pins were a hit!
All were colored in with markers and/or chalks. Microbeads added to Sticky Strip. And use two microscope slides per pin . . . it gives a nice professional look to the back of your pin.
Not Shown: You can use embossing powder on the sticky strip instead of the beads. Gold e.p. is REALLY pretty. Put another piece of Sticky Strip right on top of the gold e.p. and add micro beads and you will see the gold e.p. shimmering through the beads. VERY cool effect!!
Have fun but be careful because these little buggars are addicting!
I also really want to thank Kim Williams and Maggie Pinque. Thanks for making me do this project. ;)
