I had a blast doing this card today, for no apparent reason, just cuz. I love using markers to color, and so thank you, Julia, for giving us this awesome challenge this week (WT108).
I use Tombow Pens and wet paintbrush to spread the color. Hint: I find that I can only color a tiny bit at a time, and then I have to spread the color with the wet brush right away. If I color a large area, the pigment dries into the paper too much to spread it around. Also, I get the best results with real artist quality watercolor paper.
The main image and saying, as well as the wooden bg stamp are High Hopes Stamps.
Some of the birds came from other Noah's Ark themed stamps that High Hopes also sells. And some of them I stamped on a flat rubber stamp first to reverse them cuz they weren't flying in the direction I wanted them to!
rhondag did this fab card you must see, and gave me the idea for the ocean waves: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/528668
