I decided to take the boys whale watching while Steve worked. In the past we didn’t have much luck whale watching. This trip was wonderful. We first saw a Minke whale in the distant. Then we came across the big humpback whale on the opposite page while he was eating. It was such an amazing site that I have never seen before. In total we saw about A dozen whales. On the trip back we came across a small group of whales, two adults and one calf. The top right photo is of the Calf. It was so curious about the boat it kept coming up on the side or back of the boat. The first thing you could see of the calf was the white flippers, then the nose and all of a sudden he will blow. At one point we got sprayed from him and the boys expression was “Ewww, whale boogers!” It was a great trip and we could not stop talking about it for days.
