I needed several birthday cards this week and I was dying to use this new birdie stamp by Anna Wight for Whipper Snapper. The color challenge was perfect! I love the way this card turned out. It is going to a very sweet stamping buddy so I hope she likes it too.
I stamped Aida Cloth on Kraft CS with Close to Cocoa ink, then overstamped the swirly BG (who's name completely escapes me - sorry) in Red Craft ink. The birdie was stamped on Confetti White. The image was too big for my oval punches so I used my colluzzle and some scallop scissors. I watercolored the image with markers scribbled on a CD. The sentiment was done with Snap Stamps. Then I sponged on Creamy Caramel. Ribbon is from jacksonbelle embellishments and this was my last scrap - I need some more! TFL!
