I made this tin for my niece, Kaylie, as an alternative to an Easter basket (and filled it with lots of goodies!) I wanted it to be bright and cheery, something she could keep for a long time. I wasn't sure what to do with the top so I painted it with pink acrylic paint and then put these $1 store sticky ladybugs I had on top to give it some texture. Beneath the ladybugs I stamped images from Polka Dots and Petals but it's hard to see in the picture. I noticed after I was done that the patterned paper on the top is upside down but oh well.. she's only 2 so I don't think she'll notice Thanks for looking!

such a great tin!!! She is going to be so happy. Hope she knows how lucky she is to have a talented aunty like you. The best part of it is that you enjoyed yourself making an unforgettable gift for someone special. I love that feeling...
