I made 17 of these Carrot Boxes for our monthly demo swap/meeting, and also had 11 ladies making it at my stamp class last night. Four more will be making next Tuesday morning at stamp class.
My Carrot Box is pretty much cased from laurap, with a few differences. I used the PETALS Stampin' Around Wheel, and added the Old Olive stem which is a 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 piece, cut every 1/8 inch then crimped. To see laurap's original design, click here: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I have the two eyelets going through both closures at the top. Last night, the question was raised .... how do you get the candy out without ripping it apart? Hmmmm .... don't know what the solution to that would be other than doing four eyelets at the top then tying the ribbon.
The carrot box pattern was found on the Stampin' Up! demonstrator website.
The tag is FAUX Metal Edge Tag. Punch Silver Metallic paper with the 1 3/8-inch circle punch, then punch again with the 1 1/2-inch circle punch. Use 2-way glue pen to adhere. Looks just like a metal edge tag!
