This is another card I made to find one I like for Christmas. On this one I stamped the train on night of navy paper that had been sprayed with silver pearl ex and hair spray. I then embossed the train in silver. I stamped the tracks with silver on real red, sprayed with the same silver pearl ex. This is all mounted on forest foliage paper. The snowflakes came from a mixed bag of confetti I got at Walmart. I applied these with crystal effects. I wrote the "Merry Christmas" with a silver uniball pen and used the same pen to make the steam around the letters. The card does not look that *grainy* in real life, but the pearl ex never photographs well. Love opinions on this one please. Can't decide if I like it or not.

It is a cute card, but does look like a lot of intricate work to make manty of them! I like the theme. Not real "Christmasy"; but actually I do like that about it. The best Christmas cards offer something unique, which this one does! Great job!
I like the idea of it...I think perhaps something I would try out would be to soften the steam...sponging or perhaps a little brushing of craft ink would do the trick...also, instead of the big flakes perhaps offset the train to the left side of the paper and tie a ribbon on the other side of it...I do like the idea though...

I too like the idea. You could try as suggested to sponge the steam and if you still want to write , write over the steam with a darker marker/pen. I love the train and the track, they look great embossed like that!

I think the steam is toooo large, as above maybe not lacey stuff..rest of card is very cute. Hope you get it like you want it. I love the blue and white.
