My sister sent a sheet of crimped off-white CS in one of her cards to protect the card in the mail, so I decided to keep it and use it on a card. :) This is a very simple card, with a Mega plain circle punch-out layered on a Giga scalloped circle punchout, layered on the 4x5.25 crimped cardstock, and all layered on the Apricot Bazzill textured cardstock. I let my inner cheapskate emerge on this one, and cut out three bookplates from the part of the Apricot CS that would be covered by the crimped layer.
Thanks for looking!

I just had to click on this for the cute title. Love your story about your frugalness! Like the vertical orientation of the card. It reminds me of the great expanse of the sea. Great idea to positon the boat image in the circle. Very nice card.

Very lovely. That sailboat goes perfectly with the crimped background. Very clever of you. Smart idea to go with the bookplate technique...nothing cheapskate about it...just smart and thinking ahead to the next use of that gorgeous color paper. tfs
