This is for the LSC107 challenge to only use a sentiment stamp and only one layer of cardstock. I chose to use Fabriano notecard 5" by 5" and masked it to create a scene all around the sentiment as well as to create borders on all four sides. I sketched the trees with my artist pen and then painted with creamy caramel reinker. I sponged Celery and Olive around for the ground area. I used a mini tipped sponge applicator to create leaves for the trees in Celery and Olive. I pulled out my set of waterproof colored marker (Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens purchased from DickBlick.com) http://www.dickblick.com/zz207/59/ and sketched in the greenery, flowers, etc. I masked off a circle cut with my 3/4" punch to make the sky and sponged in Barely Banana. Then I masked over the circle and sponged in the sky with Bashful Blue and then unkasked the sun to add more yellow and create a haze. This may look like it has a layer but I had to put a piece of cardstock behind the white card as the scan washed out the border of the card.

Oh, Kitty....this is so gorgeous. So serene. I could almost envision an angel floating down from the sky. As always, another great card! TFS!

I really like how it looks like the sun is shining on the flowers, and I like the deep shadows under the trees. I like how you used so much masking so well!
