Okay, she's a BusyBella, but I really wanted to play in today's sketch challenge. I promised myself I'd do at least one challenge per week to broaden my horizons.
I'm a little nervous about this one, I like elements of it, but its also just got a lot going on. But, I **think** I played by the rules??
Giftabella's skirt is stamped on cool carribean and cut out, mounted on pop up dots, and given polka dots with a souffle marker. The pants look streaky here, but IRL look nice. Chipboard flower made with my cuttlebug dies. This had little striped tabs, which I just changed to Cool Carribean tabs and it made me feel much more comfortable with the card. Funny how such a small detail can make a big difference....
My lovely Bella is from the amazing Emily at www.stampingbella.com I played with the color challenge last night, and needed to do a bella that was more in my color scheme. I thought she needed a little pink! ;-)
Just started a blog yesterday to help me chronicle how my stamping evolves with my **hopefully** routine participation in these challenges! http://stampedbyhand.blogspot.com
