This is a card I did for my March stamp club. The big flowers are inked using stipple brushes and Marigold Morning and Ruby Red ink. Now my big flower stamp has a halo of Marigold ink around the rubbah I used an ink refill to make sure my pads were nice and juicy before I started this, it really made a difference. It comes out a *lot* lighter with a stipple brush; for the small flowers I had to stamp them off once because they were such a vibrant Ruby Red. I wheeled Bodacious on the Marigold strip in Marigold Morning ink.
Aren't these fun tropical colors? At first I was going to do a couple shades of yellow, and then I decided on Cameo Coral, Cool Caribbean, and Apricot Appeal, but I didn't have Cameo and Apricot re-inkers to make this work. This card was almost a dozen other color combinations before I decided on this. I really had to hem and haw before I picked a sentiment, too--had to be something bold enough to stand out with those flowers around it, but still fit in the space.
