I think I set the dial to 4 1/2" (it's funny how you can forget something you did just a few days ago! It may have been 4" - it was the biggest size the Cricut would let me cut). The book itself is 4 1/2" x 4 1/4" when finished (closed). The saffron paper is done using the 'shadow' feature; and the patterned paper is just using feature itself. It is actually a matchbook album with a more squared flap (the other option is for a rounded flap). I cut the inserts myself, as it was much quicker and saved more paper. They are 7 1/2" by 4". I then folded them in half. (I used four of them.). I actually got them to stick on the inside using my ATG gun. Also, I added an extra fold in the spine, right down the middle. Kinda made an accordian-type looking spine. Two of the inserts are tucked into the book on one side of the extra fold, and the other two on the other side. Does that make sense?
