I struggle using bright colors. My daughter was listening to me talking about that very thing and decided that she likes working with bold colors best. So, she said she wanted to make a card for this challenge. This is her first card. She's never really shown an interest in stamping before. Here's her first attempt at card making. We took the picture on her bedspread. Fitting isn't it? Her idea. By the way...she's 13. tfl

my goodness, tosha. you have a budding artist on your hands! to tosha's daughter: you have an excellent eye for composition and color combination. your card is very cool and very pretty! keep at it if you enjoy doing it...you're off to a terrific start!

The color combo, layout, simple details...I NEVER would have guessed this was her first card! I've been at it a while, and I would not have come up with this at all. (You don't s'pose she's been secretly practicing in the basement for a couple of years, do ya?) ;-)
