This is my very first attempt at an ATC. Someone had pm-ed me about being part of an ATC swap but I didn't know much about them. I looked around here and some blogs and got some idea and tried out my very first ATC.
I wanted it to be an expression of my art style. So I used these beautiful colors of chocolate chip and tempting turquoise. I love the Tim Holtz inks so started with a backdrop of distressed inks. I have had so much fun with my pastels on embossing and using it on dark cardstock that I decided to use that as on the side. Finally, as anyone knows who has looked at my scrapbooks, I love making them interactive with little envelopes and whatnot -- so I had to add a homemade vellum envelope on the front. Inside, a tiny brown card with the awesome bunch of flowers from Carte Postale and "smile" from the Fancy Flexible Phrases to finish it all off.
The corners aare rounded and I've distressed the edges with some close to cocoa ink (thanks ninatar for the suggestions).
I hope you like it. I made 5. I'm keeping one and I've already given away 1 other one. If you'd like to trade, pm me your name and address and I'd be happy to send one your way (but there are only 3 left) :-)
