This is for the FS03 challenge and our Featured Stamper is MyPrecious-Bethie. Here is her card I used for inspiration...Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. I loved the aged look of her turtle card but didn't have that image. I thought the bird on a limb from Touch of Nature could be made with the same aged look. I had to turn the card side ways since the image was too wide to layer the other way. Yesterday I was surpsrised by Texasjodylynn's use of a light craft ink on a dark cardstock and I loved the look. I had to try it on the chocolate chip layer and I used vanilla craft ink. I tore the caramel and close to cocoa layer but cut the bird image layer with my deckle scissors as I am not the world's best tearer. I didn't want to tear into my image. I used my brown artist pen to put little dots around the main image like was on the turtle stamp that Bethie used. I sponged over the entire image with caramel ink after I finished paingint and then used chocolate chip ink with the IBB for tecture. I used brown gingham that I purchased from SweetMissDaisy's Ebay store.

Wow, Kittie, this is gorgeous! Love the cheesecloth BG and DTP on the caramel layer! Your coloring is wonderful and the torn layers give an outdoors feel. I may have to CASE for a Father's Day card!
