I saw a matchbook card posted on SCS (I'll edit when I remember by whom) and it reminded me I always wanted to make one.
ETA (3/21/07): I used instructions allamericanstampers posted on this thread (msg #2) but modified for the landscape orientation 'coz it fit my images better.
At my 02/10/07 SAS, the "bonus" item was to make one masculine Valentine card. I made the designs on the top left and bottom left. The others were made by my customers (they are also friends).
I usually have small groups (4-6) so i show my design but tell them they can copy it or use any of the ingredients to make their own design.
It's lots of fun to see the results and I like to encourage their creativity. They seem to have fun too by not feeling restricted to copy, yet knowing they can and will still go home with 6 cards.

Great masculine valentines! I've made matchbook cards with the flap on the short side of the card, but I'll have to try this method sometime, too. Thanks for sharing!
