I love making Asian cards and I just happened to have the PERFECT baby pig to use for this Year of the Pig - Chinese New Year card. Thank you so much Emily and Peggy for putting this challenge together for us - lots of fun.
I had to keep this pretty simple because my stamping time lately is VERY limited! This card was FAST a true Take Ten card! lol! The fireworks was embossed in gold. I got that stamp waaaay back when I first started stamping and I think Mike's still sells it! The red panel is lifted up on foam tape. The line you see on the red panel is from a black micron pen. A simple touch that adds some extra impact. (At least I think so, anyway!)
PS - I'm editing to add that I'm not sure why the New Year and Piggy look so fuzzy because IRL they are crisp and clear as a bell. Must have been something I did when I took the picture. Sorry 'bout that.
