I could not get my card's side panels to criss-cross since the baseball diamond had to be a little taller so...I have a favor to ask...could we change the name of this challenge from Criss-Cross Applesauce to Let's touch base? Just joshing! We will leave it since I am the odd man out!
This card is for Drake....He is a 13 year old who recently had a 10 hour surgery where they broke both his legs so they could rebuild his knee-caps. Drake was a premature baby and has medical issues his whole life. He is in alot of pain right now. He is a Minnesota Twins fan and loves baseball!
Here is his story if you would like to send a card:

I am all welled up right now! How wonderful of you to make such a personalized card for my nephew, Drake. I just don't even know what to say. Drake will LOVE this card and treasure it forever I am sure. Thank you also, Cindy, for the link. Just to let people know, though, I'm not *expecting* people to send baseball themed cards - any get well/ or thinking of you card will bring him cheer. I only mentioned the MN Twins because I wanted everyone to know a little about his personality.

Cool Card...I bet Drake will be thrilled with it. What an ordeal for a young guy to have to go through. You are always so quick to respond to others' needs. I'm sure that through SCS he'll receive lots of encouraging cards to help brighten his days. God Bless You for being so sweet!

This is so clever and ver personalized, I tried making a young boy a birthday baseball card once, but it looked nothing like this one! I'm sure it'll brighten his spirits to know you care!

What a neat card. You have the greatest ideas. Drake will certainly smile when he sees this card. You just personalize every card you make. You are such a sweet person to make sure it is just right.
