This was done for Ways To Use It Challenge WT100 - where Julia wanted us to find inspiration for a card from a web site. Well, I'd had this web site on my desktop for a long time, meaning to do exactly that.
I took silver wire and twisted it to fit around the chipboard oval that I had covered with StazOn Black ink. Then I cut out pieces of blue, turquoise and purple paper to fit inside the oval in a swirl. Once that was all glued down, I covered the whole oval with clear ep to make it shiny. Then, I attached the silver wire onto the oval with Crystal Effects.
Multiple mats were used to emhpasize the layers of the black and colored swirls on the oval. Then I stamped the swirls from Fresh Fillers on the turquoise bottom strip. A double layer of black organdy ribbon was tied between the purple and turquoise pieces. Finally, I added part of a saying from the Fancy Flexible Phrases set and one of the swirls that come with that same set (loving those swirly images!). Put all of this on a 51/2 x 4/ 1/4 black card base.
And voila - a great card from an inspiring web site.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
