This is my new christmas challenge I got the layout idea from www.pagemaps.com They have some awesome spread ideas there.
I wanted to get outside my usual box so I used an older card color combo challenge from here for my colors, almost amethyst, mellow moss and bravo burgundy. I figured if they work good for cards it was worth trying for scrapbooks. I love how these colors turned out for this christmas page.
I embossed the happy holidays circle from the riveting stamp set and layered it on brushed gold paper. I then punched out 4 corners with the ticket corner punch and attached them around the circle with mini glue dots. The title: So very happy and the subtitle noel are also embossed.
The two backgrounds I wheeled on a diagonal to help hide the fact that they might not be exactly lined up. I'm glad the photos covered up any major mistakes on my part. I need a ton more practice with wheels because I am still not good at wheeling them even or straight yet.

Very nice layout and colour choice. I love all the embossing and stamping on this page... I also use my wheel on the diagonal because I can't do it straight either! Once you add all the layers it doesn't matter anyway! :-)
