This is my latest group of Domino's that I just completed. I know many of you are addicted to dominos as I am so I figure I will share with you my newest. I have so many people asking me to make these for stocking stuffers that I can't keep up right now.

I use medium sized dominos the most, these I get at my local dollar store. I like them alot because they are a cream color and the domino itself is not real thick.
I also have larger pure white ones that I purchase at Jo-Ann Fabrics.
Mini ones good for jewelry & embellishments can be gotten at AC Moore.
Check this site out for great dominos & Game pieces at reasonable prices: http://www.skybluepink.com./index.html
This is a good time of year to get dominos,Walmart, Big Lots all have heafty supplies of them right now for the holidays.
Hope this helps!

How did you do the backgrounds? Did you use watercolor pencils on that too?
I have looked for small dominoes and can't find them. Which dollar store did you use? I found huge ones at Big Lots. I want to use the dominoes as pins.
These are really great dominoes you have made. I will be glad when I can try my luck with some.

Where I live we have a store called $ Zone in the mall. This is where I get these medium sized dominos. If you don't have one of these near you check out the website I posted above, they have these domino's and they are reasonable.
The bacgrounds I do in a # of ways. I use the Stazon with a touch of the Stazon cleaner on a 100% cotton ball & I gently rub the colors on. If you get too much in one place just add a little more cleaner and smooth it out. I usually add 2-3 colors on each domino as in the Giraffe one above. I stamp the image on the marbleized background and then I take an old blender pen(I never throw any of my old ones out, I have some I use for bleach too) & wet the tip with the Stazon Cleaner & remove all the color inside of the stamped image. I then color in the image with watercolor pencils & then use a blender pen.
Other backgrounds I use pastels with blender pens or I do the whole background with the watercolor pencils.
