I made this card for hubby for Valentines day. I picked glorious green as my base color, as first I thought this worked good for frogs, and also to use it for the ways to use it challenge. I then picked out the background paper from a big pack I got from Walmart, as I thought it looked similar to water. For WT73 I cut the lily pad out of an oval that I cut from my coluzzle template, then cut a notch into it to resemble a lily pad. I used my snap stamps to stamp, "Feeling Froggy?". I sponged glorious green craft around the edges of the vanilla paper and then watercolored the frogs with the craft ink also, as I feel this gives a more vibrant color then the dye inks do. I hand drew the dashes between each frog. I felt it was missing something so pulled out my buttons as I had been meaning to use them for the WT93. I got the two little ones to see which color looked best from what I had, and they said I needed one on the lily pad too. they love it when I ask their opinion on card stuff. The frog brad is one I got in a mixed pack of bugs from someplace online.
I used size 4mm googlie eyes for the frog eyes, as I thought they were the perfect size. I got them in a package with all the other eyes.
