This is for the the weekly card sketch challenge #109 (Forums at Splitcoaststampers. Had a little trouble getting the band right - it ended up backwards. Saw a Queen of Hearts card in something awhile back so looked thru my playing cards and came across my Mickey Mouse playing cards. Scanned the Minnie Queen of Hearts - used the antique filter to change the color of the card - printed onto beige CS - rounded the corners - and there you go.
The sparkely (sp?) heart is covered with this fun glue I bought at Michael's yesterday - the glue has glitter and little hearts in it.
The card base was left over from a failed attempt the other day so I decided to work with it for the challenge. I had used the bleaching technique in the upper left corner with a stamp - didn't like the color so used the watercolor crayons to color it in.
BTW - I made my banner as a pocket - the playing card comes out - you could write or stamp on the back of the card.
This was a fun challenge....well I guess all the challenges are fun!! Can't wait for the weekend ... VSN!!! It'll be my second one!! WooHoo!
