ATC, several on BALSA wood, stamped and the butterfly is stamped on vellum, embossed with Black EP and painted on back with acrylic (diamond glaze) and mica powders (Pearl Ex). Fried/dried the paint to bubble a bit, mounted on foam dimensionals so the butterfly wings are not flat, but curve. For a swap. (ATC is just a good excuse to make these butterflies...)

Nina, these are fabulous! The colors are amazing. Do you have a support for the Balsa, (a layer of cardstock), or is it strong enough on it's own? Is the vellum very lightweight, I'm amazed at how the colors come through. As always, your work is delightful.
