Basically, take a piece of copy paper and tear it so you have a rough and slightly wavy edge. Lay that across your cardstock and brush the chalk across the edge onto your cardstock. My downline demo'd this using her finger but I prefer using the sponge daubers as they hold a lot of chalk and it's less messy. Once you have the first line done, just scoot the paper down a bit and repeat. Keep going in this manner till the cardstock is covered, you can use a cottonball to brush off any excess chalk. You can add different colors and space them close or farther apart.
