For the background, I embossed the Cuttlebug Heart Blocks folder twice...on pink & white. Then I very carefully cut the excess border so they would match. I laid one on top of the other and placed it diagonally in my paper trimmer. Then cut all the pieces the same width. When I was done I alternated the colors and had enough pieces for 2 cards. Turn them over, match the pattern and tape together. Trim the sides if necessary to make them even.
Wipe a white craft pad over top to soften the pink.
It's really not difficult and looks very cool IRL.
