I made this card for my father in law's birthday; it's probably the most masculine looking card I've ever made. I'm very proud of this card, because I made it under a tight time constraint - 20 minutes! It usually takes me a good hour to conceptionalize and execute a card.
The base is Old Olive CS sponged with Close to Cocoa. I used a crystal brad from Making Memories to dot the "i" in big. I used a corner punch and linen thread to border the confetti white layer. I used the 1 1/4" circle punch to make the circle tag background olive green, and popped up the red "Day" circle on a dimensional. I also used Diamond Stickles on the word "day."
On the next version of this card I think I will use the ticket punch for the corners of the patterned paper and then embellish with silver brads. Just to tie in the silver of the circular tag a little more.
