This is one of my new Penny Black stamps that I recently purchased. I couldn't resist this cute little froggy! It is titled 'Found Love'
This will be my oldest DS's Valentine card (he will be turning 5 in March).
I watercolored the image on SU's watercolor paper. I used a light touch of my Stardust gelly roll pen on the heart. I then used the Cuttlebug Hearts embossing folder (I *heart* my cuttlebug) on Pretty in Pink CS. Punched a hole with my Giga Scalloped Square punch and then centered the image behind the punched hole and mounted the entire think to Black cardstock. The little tag is also a Cuttlebug die (Tiny Tags?) and the heart bling is by Me & My Big Ideas.
A funny thing, JulieHrr uploaded a fabulous card to the January DD gallery in which she used the horizontal slot punch to punch a hole on the left most side of the card (by the crease) in which to thread the ribbon through (you all know the card, the one with the Bella stamp). Anyway, she oh so patiently tried to explain how she punched this slot (only going through the top piece), and I thought I understood, but trying it on this card, I obviously didn't. I have no idea how she managed to punch that little slot with the punch, but then I remember that a while back, I purchased the Basic Grey Notch Tool. So I managed to get the same type of look, but with a 'toadally' different tool.
