I played off color and shape. I made the first cut on an angle then taped the next piece to it, cut across the top and bottom and continued until I had a large enough panel.
The colorful panel is stamped in both white and grey (after stamping off) with Linen then the Crosshatch in Bordering Blue.
The square corners are done with the ¼” square punch from Stampin Up.
Ink distressing is done on the main panel and also the grey and orange panels.
The design is heat embossed with clear powder and while itÂ’s hot I threw on some grey Pearl Ex. A trick I learned in a VSN challenge from Pink Fish.
The orange and grey panel with the design I did the direct to paper technique using Night of Navy to define the edges.
Thanks for the challenge Karen; I now have another good way to use those scraps.

Love the corners with the square brads. Wouldn't this make an awesome man card? The colors are perfect, what a great job you did putting it together, like a puzzle!
