i was looking through the march issue of traditional home magazine, when on page 46 i noticed a cream colored scarf that had a large black rose on it that reminded me so much of the rose from watercolor garden. i decided to make a card using this scarf as my inspiration piece. the cream cs is some i bought that has raised ridges on it. i used this feature to create the suggestion of fringes by coloring it with black ink. the rose is created using the leaves from wild rose, masking the top leaf, and the rose from watercolor garden. the bg panel uses the other layer leaf stamp from wild rose. the card is cut longways and opens from the bottom. the black border is affixed to the back of the card, so the card itself is entirely cream, even on the inside. i hope that makes sense.
