My husband, stepson, and I recently vacationed in Florida, and I had the good fortune to take some time to meet Kittie Caracciolo (Kittie747). For those of you who are familiar with and love Kittie's work, you can only imagine how excited I was! The first time we met was for lunch at her place of work where we had an engaging two hours together! She is such a delightful person; it was like we had been friends forever! I also met a few of her co-workers, who are also Splitcoaststampers (ladyjanek, cerindo, moonchild4965, and wereids---I'll be checking out their galleries and hope you will, too.)
Kittie and I met again a couple days later at her beautiful home where I saw her awesome stamping space and watched the artist in action. She shared with me her techniques and tools that she uses to create her beautiful scenery cards and then had me make a couple of my own scenes on watercolor paper, which I will incorporate into cards. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous having the master watch me, but she is such a friendly and humorous person that she quickly put me at ease.
Here are a few pictures I'd like to share with all of you of our time together. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside--what a gorgeous smile! There are so many wonderful people on this site that I would like to meet in person, and I was certainly blessed to meet this charming lady.
Kittie, thank you so much for the time we had together, your generosity, and the great memories I'll have!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with Kittie!
I am a great fan of hers too!
I love the photos and could look at a hundred of them, especially her workspace!
Hey! Kittie! Make a video of you designing cards, I'd buy it!
I really hate to admit that I had cleaned up my stamping area pretty well for Charlene to come visit. Sometimes it gets so bad that I just push stuff back with arm to create a few inches to work in. I just resent it so much when I have to take my free time to clean up so I can just mess it up again. But.....it does take putting stuff away sometimes just to be able to figure out where stuff is.

Clutter seems to be my middle name lol. Glad to see that someone I admire and look to for inspiration also, at times, has a cluttered space when working on a project!! Your trip looked fun for both of you.

Okay, evidence that not only does she exist but that we truly (hand-makes) her cards...They are so good that I have often wondered how can she possible do this? It is beyond me, now I just have to settle in and realize, she truly is a wonder woman.....
Hey Kittie, I am going to show this picture to my dh. He is always telling me...You have this huge table with so much junk on it that you only have about a 6 inch square to work in.....Yahoo! Something I have in common with The Snow Queen!
Charlene...you are not in the picture.....but I feel your presence there!
