I made this One Sheet Wonder a few days ago and was so happy with how they all turned out. I've been in a stamping slump since Christmas and haven't been too motivated to stamp. I have found that doing a OSW can really get the creative juices flowing and this was no exception.
I used an unusual color combination for me from the color coach: eggplant, summer sun, really rust, always artichoke. I stamped the bugs from the set on an 8.5 x 11 whisper white paper and then randomly cut it up into 11 different pieces. My accent colors were blush blossom and I used embossed some of the sayings from the Sellabration set, Happy Harmony in gold glory for added richness.
The butterflies came about just they way I was hoping they would. I embossed them in black detail embossing powder on SU's lightweight vellum and then colored them in with markers. Then, I embossed the butterfly again in Irridescent Ice and then cut out. The double embossing really stabilized them and made them easy to cut out. I pop dotted them on each card.
I used the swirls from the Ladybug stamp set and embossed some of them with gold embossing powder.
I'll upload each card if you'd like a closer look - it's hard to see all of them in this photo.
Thanks for looking!
